RHOBH star PK Kemsley says he’s “grateful and proud” to celebrate six months of sobriety following his split from wife Dorit Kemsley.
On Sunday, PK Kemsley shared a screenshot from a sobriety app that revealed he had been sober for “0.50 years, 6.06 months, 185 days, 4,453 hours.”
“On Father’s Day the greatest gift I can give my 5 kids is to remain sober … grateful and proud to say this weekend I am 6 months … Happy Fathers Day to all you great dads out there doing your best,” the RHOBH husband shared on Instagram.
Bravo fans supported and congratulated the 56-year-old in the comment section of his post. However, his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, has yet to comment on the post.
At the RHOBH season 13 reunion, Dorit admitted that PK’s drinking had fueled issues in their marriage.
“PK was drinking a lot, and he’s a drinker. I just think that it’s very difficult to have clear-headed conversations when he’s drinking so much, so he gave up drinking,” she said in March at the RHOBH season 13 reunion.
At that time, Dorit revealed that PK was “49 days” sober.
On Thursday, May 9, Dorit Kemsley took to Instagram to address the ongoing speculation about her marriage to her husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley.
In the post, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced that she and PK were taking some time apart amid their ongoing marital woes.
On Instagram, Dorit wrote:
“We as a couple have been subject to a lot of specualtion about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.
To safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutal and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.
We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.
With love, Dorit and PK.”
Dorit Kemsley and PK have been married since 2015 and share two children. They joined RHOBH in 2016 during season 7.
The estranged couple’s marital issues will play out during season 14 of RHOBH, which began production in May.
