Earlier this year, Maggie Lindemann’s company SWIXXZ debuted a new series called SWIXXZ Presents in collaboration with AltPress. The series casts a bright light on the artists in Lindemann’s orbit that spans music, comedy, sports, the arts, and beyond, and now another new episode has landed.
For its fourth installment, host Demi Ramos crashes Alexz Johnson’s rehearsals for a string of shows in support of her 2023 album, Seasons. During their conversation, the duo delves into her Disney Channel days (including why she’ll always be “intertwined” with her character Jude Harrison from Instant Star), being independent, and her latest record. “The whole album really is about how the seasons of our lives — life and death and all of the hard times that we go through, and the good times — do eventually come to an end, but that it’s OK to accept that because there’s always something new around the corner,” Johnson shares.
