For electronic music enthusiasts on the East Coast, Elements Music & Arts Festival is a breath of fresh air in today’s glut of music festivals. But the best part about this specific getaway—besides it’s massive lineup—is its affordability.

Scheduled for August 9-11 in Long Pond, PA, the festival’s 7th edition brings yet another standout lineup for attendees. Over 100 artists will perform, including Excision, ILLENIUM, AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo’s Fly With Us, and two performances by dubstep superstar Subtronics.

Spanning many sub-genres of dance music, there’s something for everyone on this massive lineup, which includes a hotly anticipated “Redux” performance from Kaskade. Elements organizers recently revealed the lineup’s second phase, which saw many exciting additions, including EDM.com Class of 2024 stars Sara Landry and Hamdi.

“We tried to go out of the box and worked hard to bring fans some fresh house and techno artists as well as some rare b2b sets for phase two,” said Elements Co-Founder Timothy Monkiewicz. “We are excited to add your most requested jam band and Pennsylvania royalty, The Disco Biscuits! This well-rounded lineup gives something for everyone and we can’t wait for you all to enjoy it.”

Experience Elements Festival

Ticket-holders are invited to embark on mischievous journeys between the bizarre, the healing, the luminescent, the fun and the immersive. There’s theatrical performances and experiential art to explore in all corners of the Elements, but perhaps most in The Bizarre, like the festival-favorite Frick Frack Black Jack.

As darkness falls, the forest comes alive with luminescent mushrooms, flowers and whimsical candy creatures to create a mesmerizing spectacle that feels otherworldly. After you explore nature’s illuminated beauty, you can step into The Healing Garden for an oasis of transformative wellness practices like yoga, sound baths and a curated sustainability program.

Then take your newfound energy to inspire your inner child with fun and games hosted by LazerPants. Indulge in a playful world of surprises and games like relay races, talent shows and puppet plays to take a break from the bustle of “real” life.

Elements Festival Travel

Now let’s plan your getaway to Elements at the Pocono Raceway. You have four options in terms of airports you can fly into. Scranton International (AVP) is the closest at only 35 miles from the venue. Flights to Scranton are relatively affordable, ranging from as low as $60 and reaching as high as $400.

If you need to fly into a bigger airport, Newark Liberty International (EWR) and Philadelphia International (PHL) are your next best bets. Each is about 100 miles away from the festival’s grounds, with flights averaging in the mid-$200s for a roundtrip. Depending on from where you’re leaving, you might even get lucky and find one for under $100—just make sure you get enough baggage for all your fun festival-wear.

Once you land, take advantage of one of Elements’ shuttles as an easy and hassle free way to get to and from the festival. They start at $66 each way and depart from Philadelphia, Newark or Manhattan. The shuttles are perfect for those without vehicles or those flying in.

Elements Festival Tickets

Now you know your travel options, let’s look at the festival’s ticket packages. A GA Festival Pass is only $339 and a VIP Festival Pass will run you $589.

If you’re interested in experiencing the festival with elevated access, you can get a Platinum Festival Pass for $1299. This comes with all the benefits of VIP, plus exclusive side-stage viewing access, a dedicated concierge team, complementary snacks and seltzers in the lounges, and $300 of food credit loaded on your festival band.

Vibe Village Group Camping

Vibe Villages are Elements’ unique take on the festival group camping experience. Great for groups of 10 people or more, they allow you to unlock priority camping perks and your own dedicated space.

Your theme camp will be divided into one of three different “villages”: Fire, Water and Air, each of which express creativity, authenticity and gift-giving. Fire Village has experiential camps where people build and provide sound or art, workshops and wellness. Water Village is for groups who want to decorate their camp to the nines or plan a squad outfit and express themselves. Air Village is for big groups looking to chill and enjoy the perks of Vibe Village.

Elements Festival Accommodations

Your next key decision is where you want to stay during the festival. The most economical option is a 10×10 camping space for $10. If you end up driving, don’t forget to pick up a Parking Pass, sold separately and ranging from $59 to $189.

Beyond a simple camping spot, you could opt for an easier situation of a two-person preset tent for $449 or a two-person glamping tent for $1599. If you want a more luxurious situation, spring for a pre-set RV starting at $3299 (sleeps up to five) or even a room at partnered resorts starting at $1299 (sleeps up to four).

All-In

All said and done, you’re looking at a four-day getaway for just north of $1,000. To put that into perspective, an average three-day vacation in 2023 costs $1,389.09, according to Forbes. And that’s including a stay at a mid-range hotel—no tickets to music or live artistic experiences included.

Tickets are available for purchase via Elements Music & Arts Festival official website, where you can also find out more about the festival’s pricing.
