Out now via UKF, “Overthinking Out Loud” is a product of Kismet’s exploration of their mental health and self-doubt, wrapped in a meticulously crafted soundscape. The vibrant track is a candid explication, Kismet says, of the tempestuous nature of their mind on any given day.
“‘Overthinking Out Loud’ is a song about my mind and the onslaught of anxious, depressive, and otherwise random thoughts that run through my mind about what people’s perceptions of me are, if it’s worth it to continue pursuing music as a career, and if I should even keep living my life,” Kismet said. “I wanted to write a song that encapsulated these feelings and put them into sound.”
