Following all of his trailblazing strides and dedicated social justice and personal injury efforts, Ben Crump is now being honored at the 4th annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, being recognized for his work in the community. The Community Award is given to an individual whose lifetime of achievements have forever changed the world for the better. The Community Award celebrates individuals who, through dedication and actions toward building a better community, have inspired change.

While accepting his award, Ben Crump told the room at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards, “I’m humbled by this award from my brother and client Jason Lee. I’m going to make the case in accepting this award that we should all learn from Jason Lee and his evolution. When Jason first came on the scene, he was entertaining us and giving us the tea, but he has evolved and is using his platform to engage us and educate us and empower us and expanding his cultural competence and influence and transporting it into political activism. We must use our influence for more than clicks on social media … We have to speak truth to power. We can make a better world for all of children.”
