tvN announced its upcoming K-drama Serendipity’s Embrace, starring Love Alarm actress Kim So-Hyun and Daily Dose of Sunshine’s Chae Jong-Hyeop. The series is all set to premiere on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. KST on tvN. Based on the webtoon titled Is It Fate?, the K-drama will document the love story of two individuals who reunite after a decade. The romance drama has earned a lot of excitement among viewers.

Recently, tvN announced the brand new title as well as the release date of the K-drama Serendipity’s Embrace. Director Song Hyun-Wook of The King’s Affection and The Midnight Studio helms the series. Meanwhile, Park Geu-Ro joins him as the screenwriter of the upcoming tvN drama.

When will Love Alarm cast member Kim So-Hyun’s next K-drama be released?

On Friday, June 21, 2024, tvN announced the release of Serendipity’s Embrace, starring Kim So-Hyun and Chae Jong-Hyeop. The series will premiere its first episode on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. KST. As of now, details of its OTT release remain unknown, but viewers will likely be provided with a streaming platform to tune in to the romance drama.

Kim So-Hyun’s upcoming K-drama gets a new title, cast confirmed

Love Alarm actress Kim So-Hyun will act alongside Chae Jong-Hyeop, marking this their first collaboration in a K-drama. So, it will be interesting to witness their portrayal of characters in a romance series. Other cast members of the series include Yoon Ji-On and SISTAR’s Dasom.

Kim So-Hyun plays animation producer Lee Hong-Joo, who is afraid to fall in love because of painful memories in the past. However, her perspective towards love changes when she meets Kang Hoo-Young, who has witnessed her lowest moments. Played by Chae Jong-Hyeop, Kang Hoo-Young is a financial planner who lives in the United States. He yearns to reunite with his first love, Hong-Joo, after his return to Korea.

Meanwhile, Yoon Ji-On plays writer Bang Joon-Ho, and Dasom plays the English teacher and Hong-Joo’s best friend Kim Hye-Ji.
