Kelly Dodd’s fans are worried about her health after sharing a video of herself and her 18-year-old daughter, Jolie Dodd, shopping for shoes.
After sharing her video, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum was criticized by her fans and followers, many of whom suggested she was too thin and accused her of taking Ozempic.
“Kelly Dodd fans are worried she is getting too thin. Her recent post about shoe shopping has sparked concern in the comments section with fans worried for her health,” the Real Housewives Zone on Instagram wrote to their followers on June 21, also sharing a series of messages shared by social media users.
“Kelly I love you but please put on a couple [pounds],” someone wrote.
“Eek Kelly you are so beautiful but soooo skinny,” said someone else.
“Omg Kelly is on Ozempic too jeez,” another suspected.
There were also claims of Kelly having never been this thin.
“What are you doing?” an Instagram user asked. “Let us know on the smash.”
Others claimed Kelly’s smaller physique was making her look older.
“Sorry Kelly you are too thin for your size face, the thinness makes you look way older,” one person alleged.
“Being so thin is very aging Kelly and not what you want to put into your impressionable teen … Put her health and happiness before your vanity,” wrote another.
Following the sharing of the post, however, a number of other commenters felt that there was no need to worry about Kelly’s weight.
“Why does anyone feel like it’s ok to comment on anyone’s weight, it’s so rude..,” one person noted.
“She looks perfectly healthy to me,” another agreed. “She was never heavy in the first place, stop it.”
A third person echoed similar sentiments, saying, “I think we should stop talking about people’s bodies,” and a fourth said, “Leave Kelly alone… She’s a great cook and mom.”
Kelly Dodd was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Orange County from season 11 through season 15.
