Ever wondered what a Daily Bread show is like? Those who haven’t experienced one needn’t wonder anymore after the producer dropped a new mixtape, “Flash Flood II,” packed to the brim with loads of unreleased tracks and edits.

Featured on the mixtape are 25 carefully-curated tracks by which many fans are able to identify samples and bits from his shows. This includes a remix of Tommy Richman’s immensely popular “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” and flips of “Push it to the Limit” and “Two Hundred on the Dash.”

In many of the tape’s tracks—if not all of them—listeners can easily identify Daily Bread’s signature eerie and wobbling sounds, making them feel like they’re in a vintage alien film. Although this concoction of tracks serves as a sequel to the first “Flash Flood” tape, he’s stranger to the art of a mixtape. Daily Bread, whose real name is Rhett Whatley, ensures that none of his favorite old-school tracks ever stale with an arsenal of tapes going all the way back to 2014.

Proudly hailing from Atlanta, Whatley has been honing his sound for nearly 10 years, starting first from his bedroom before releasing music under the St. Louis-based Philos Records banner. He resides there alongside artists with a similar penchant for cosmic, bass-laden beats such as Artifakts, Derlee and Late Night Radio, all of whom regularly appear in his mixes.
