Davide Saclimenti, the former Love Island Season 8 winner took a profound step towards goodwill. Traveling with a group of friends last week on a mission to see one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu, he was shocked to see how much poverty was in the country and decided to give back. Choosing an organization where he can make a big impact, far from the city, he chose to travel for hours to Asociación de Las Bienaventuranzas. A charity founded by Father Omar Sanchez Portillo which is a welcomed space for the abandoned and those with special needs. Davide’s compassion for the charity has left fans and paparazzi alike in awe. Accompanied by a close-knit group of friends including socialite philanthropist Iris Au, Davide traded his usual attire for a humble ensemble whilst immersing himself in a full on day of giving back.

Images captured from the event depict Davide, adorned in a modest tee and shorts, enveloped by the radiant smiles of the children at the orphanage whilst their laughter resonated throughout the premises. This is a pleasant reminder that even though Davide has found fame, he is staying true to his roots, from his humble beginnings in Italy, the kindness and compassionate nature deriving from his Italian family is engraved in him and fans can clearly see this, with one remarking “it’s refreshing to see someone in his position using their platform for something meaningful.” Insiders close to Davide disclosed that two years on from leaving Love Island Davide is finally in a place where he feels like he can be himself. Showing the world that fame and money hasn’t changed him and he is finally doing what he wants to accomplish. One of these things being to choose to use his platform in a positive way and to help raise awareness of what’s currently going on in the world. “He’s been talking about wanting to do more with his influence,” A reliable source stated. “Since the summer Davide started his mission to travel and giving back – it’s all part of him doing something real and with more meaning.”

With Davide’s newfound ability to making a positive impact, and with the support of his circle of close friends it appears that this particular philanthropic excursion is just the beginning. Sources close to him hint at more compassionate ventures and self growth lined up for the not so distant future, indicating a promising trajectory of spreading positivity and career progress.
