Nobody 2 is officially moving forward with Bob Odenkirk set to return to the action franchise as Hutch Mansell, and he’ll be joined by a new director.
The sequel will be directed by Timo Tjahjanto, an Indonesian director who previously helmed films such as The Night Comes for Us and May the Devil Take You, as well as the horror thrillers V/H/S/2 and V/H/S/94.
Nobody screenwriter Derek Kolstad has returned to write the sequel alongside Aaron Rabin, and production will begin in August. The movie will hit theaters on August 15, 2025.
Sources say Connie Nielsen will also return as Becca Mansell, the wife to Odenkirk’s lead. No other casting has been announced.
Nobody was a ton of fun, and in it Odenkirk played Hutch Mansell, a docile family man who slowly reveals his true character after his house gets burgled by two petty thieves, which, coincidentally, leads him into a bloody war with a Russian crime boss.
It’ll be really cool to see how they expand on this story as they continue to build out this violent and insane world.
