About half a month remains for the grand release of Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated film, Indian 2. As the film marks the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, fans eagerly await a sneak peek into the upcoming story. Recently, the makers announced that they will release the Indian 2 trailer shortly.
With the tagline “Zero Tolerance,” Indian 2 is slated to hit theaters on July 12, 2024. Directed by S. Shankar, the film has been produced under the joint banners of Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. In Indian 2, Kamal Haasan reprises his iconic role as Senapathy, supported by Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh in prominent roles. Other notable cast members include Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, and Vivek, among others.
While specific plot details remain undisclosed, Indian 2 is expected to continue the story of Senapathy’s relentless battle against corruption. He returns to India from Hong Kong to support a young man who steps forward to expose corrupt politicians.
When will Indian 2 trailer be released?
The makers are actively promoting the forthcoming project through various activities ahead of its theatrical release. Recently, the production house announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they will release the trailer for Indian 2 on June 25, 2024. However, they did not mention any specific time for the trailer release.
Additionally, a user shared on Twitter that Kamal Haasan and director Shankar will promote the Hindi version of Indian 2 in Andheri on June 26. Furthermore, makers have scheduled a pre-release event for the Telugu version to take place on July 7 in Hyderabad.
In a simultaneous buzz, Haasan is gearing up for Kalki 2898 AD, which will hit the silver screen on June 27. Adding to the excitement, reports indicate that the makers will attach the Indian 2 trailer to Kalki 2898 AD.
