More Artist Friendly is on the way. Following conversations with Trixie Mattel, Darius Rucker, and Grace Potter, G Flip will join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the series.
G Flip recently wrapped a lengthy run across North America and the U.K. in support of their latest album, Drummer, including a stop at the final day of Governors Ball in NYC. The appropriately titled album, which came out last summer, is a love letter to the instrument that made them fall in love with music — while also serving as a tribute to their late drum teacher, Jenny Rose Morrish. “She was very integral to my life,” they told Rolling Stone in 2023. “I honestly think if I didn’t have her in my life, I wouldn’t be sitting here with you. I just happened to have the best teacher in the world.”
