Tycho has served fans a three-course meal after revealing a new single, album and tour.

Coming soon is Infinite Health, the sixth album from the live electronic superstar. Developing a soundtrack inspired by “hope for the future and a requiem for the past,” Tycho says his next album was created with a more electronic-forward production mindset, which saw him “focusing on breaks, drums and rhythmic elements” as a foundation.

Tycho also released the first single from Infinite Health, “Phantom,” which he called his favorite and the one he spent the most time creating alongside Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear and longtime collaborator Zac Brown.

“I wanted ‘Phantom’ to feel like a blend of lights in a nightclub with some unknown entity; a moving and shifting intelligence that served as a conduit to a deeper understanding of what’s beneath the surface of existence,” he explained in a press release. “It’s also about coming to terms with mortality, with the phantom being the ever-present specter. I spent more hours on this song than any other on the record. I played a Juno emulation for that bassline, and I feel like that bassline, and style of bass playing, is something pretty new for me.”

Tycho is now set to hit the road for a North American headlining tour for the first time in five years. Inspired by the sounds of his upcoming album, the new tour will kick off on Friday, September 13th  in Ogden, Utah.

Members of Tycho’s Open Source Community will be able to purchase tickets on June 26th. Check out the full list of stops below and find tickets here.

Infinite Health is scheduled to release via Mom + Pop Music on August 30th, 2024. Fans can now pre-save the album.
