Lightbulb Film Distribution has released a trailer for its supernatural thriller, Deadland. The film made its feature debut at SXSW last year and it was met with good reviews.
In the film, “When a detained immigrant is killed, US border agents dispose of the man’s body in an unmarked grave. But like their dark secret, the victim refuses to remain buried.”
The movie was directed by Lance Larson, and it stars Roberto Urbina (Snowpiercer), Julieth Restrepo (Griselda), McCaul Lombardi (American Honey) and Chris Mulkey (Whiplash).
Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson said in a statement: “We are delighted to be bringing Deadland to audiences in the UK & Ireland.
“We were blown away by Larson’s ability to blend nightmarish events with supernatural themes, coupled with Jas Shelton’s dream-like cinematography. This film will keep you guessing until the very end.”
Deadland was just released across digital platforms in the UK & Ireland.
