Richard “Richie” Wakile appears to be shutting down the idea of a reconciliation with Melissa and Joe Gorga after Melissa spoke of the idea on Jeff Lewis‘ radio show earlier this week.
Days after the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 45, told Jeff, 54, of her hopes for Joe to make amends with his cousin, Kathy Wakile, 58, Richie took to his Instagram Story, where he shared a brutal message with his fans and followers, seemingly in regard to the offer.
“Move the f*ck on,” read a message on a plane seen on Richie’s Story and re-shared by All About the Real Housewives on June 26.
During an episode of SiriusXM Radio’s Jeff Lewis Live earlier this week, Melisssa revealed that Richie and Kathy had built a home in their neighborhood and that she often saw Richie driving by her and Joe’s place. Then, after Jeff asked if that meant a family reunion was coming, Melissa admitted it would “be [weird] not to” make amends with the couple
“It’s a first cousin, and her mother’s still here and doing well, so I just, you know, Joe’s aunt. I don’t know. That’s sad to me that whole thing,” she stated, signaling Joe’s messy falling out with the Wakiles, which came amid their estrangement from Joe’s sister, Teresa Giudice, 52.
Jeff then encouraged Melissa to take the first step and congratulate Richie and Kathy on their new home.
“I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna do it,” she vowed. “It is what I want for [Joe], and I think deep down inside, he wants it too … Joe’s an emotional guy. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He, you know, it’s hard. He comes from a place where he feels like he has to please. He felt like he had to please people his whole life, and you know, you never know what people, how people grew up or what went on in life.”
