Kroy Biermann’s Dog Lands Him A Citation

Kroy Biermann’s year just got a little rougher after receiving a citation for his dog’s aggressive behavior toward a neighbor. 

This incident is not the first time the former NFL star and his wife, Kim Zolciak, have faced police intervention due to their pet, following a similar episode last November. 

Apart from their dog troubles, Kroy Biermann and his estranged wife, Kim Zolciak, have been in the headlines for their financial woes and the possibility of losing their home.

In this latest incident, Biermann found himself in hot water after his dog, Stone, reportedly frightened a neighbor. 

According to police documents, the neighbor called law enforcement after witnessing the Cane Corso roaming freely in the neighborhood and allegedly behaving aggressively towards her. 

While the mastiff breed eventually returned to his owner’s property, Biermann’s explanation did not satisfy the police.

Despite the 38-year-old’s account of how the 3-year-old dog managed to escape, the officers found enough evidence to issue Biermann a citation for the incident.

The police report, obtained by TMZ, reveals that Milton Police Department officers issued the citation on Saturday after the neighbor’s complaint. 

Biermann shared that his son was supposed to watch the dog, but the canine slipped away. The former athlete further clarified that their property’s gate, which should have kept Stone contained, was broken and left open. 

He recounted finding Stone on the sidewalk in front of their house rather than farther down the street.

Biermann and Zolciak share two dogs, Stone and Sinn, but it is Stone who has been at the center of multiple incidents involving a lack of supervision.

The Blast reported that in October, was allegedly involved in a near-tragic event when he reportedly tried to tackle a young boy in the neighborhood. 

The boy’s mother reported the incident to Georgia police after spotting Stone running loose. The concerned mother informed dispatch that it was not the first time Stone had been off his leash.

She claimed that the dog had previously chased her children and “almost attacked” them. While emphasizing the seriousness of the matter, thecalled described Stone as “super aggressive and never confined.”

While no injuries occurred during the encounter, the mother was determined to prevent another potentially dangerous situation with the unsupervised dog.

Zolciak and Biermann’s dogs, Stone and Sinn stirred significant concern among neighbors, sparking a viral reaction in a local Facebook group due to reported aggressive behavior.

Stone’s October incident was not the first time the couple’s dogs garnered attention for troubling behavior. Sinn made headlines six years ago for a vicious attack that nearly blinded the Biermanns’ son, Kash. 

Stone was also spotlighted in a lengthy post on the Manor Golf and Country Club Residents group. The worried mother claimed that the dog allegedly raced out of someone’s gate and “attempted to tackle and attack” her son, who was riding a scooter. 

Although he was rescued by his brother before any harm was done, their mother promised to take further steps by contacting animal control if she spotted the dog off-leash again.

While she was unsure of the dog’s owner, other residents identified Stone as belonging to Zolciak and Biermann. In the words of a Facebook commenter:

“It may be [Kim and Kroy’s] dog. He is usually behind the gate in the front yard, but sometimes their driveway gate is open.”

In addition to their canine troubles, the former lovebirds’ most pressing concern now is their mansion in Milton, Georgia, which is at risk of foreclosure.

The Blast shared that legal documents revealed that despite their efforts to sell the property, the couple may lose ownership before finding a buyer. 

The saga surrounding Zolciak and Biermann’s home began in 2023 and escalated in early 2024 when Truist Bank signaled its intent to reclaim the property.

In the latest filings, Truist Bank’s attorneys moved forward with plans for a non-judicial foreclosure proceeding to commence on or after May 3. 

The imminent deadline left Zolciak and Biermann with a short time to respond to the bank’s notice if they hope to retain ownership of their mansion.

Truist Bank took a decisive action in its efforts to reclaim ownership of Zolciak and Biermann’s home, filing legal documents three months ahead of the official foreclosure date.

The bank cited the former couple’s failure to meet mortgage payments as grounds for the foreclosure. The initial attempt to address the mortgage issue dates back to October 2023, but legal maneuvers by Zolciak and Biermann temporarily halted the process. 

Despite ongoing divorce proceedings between Zolciak and Biermann, the bank emphasized that their legal separation did not hinder its right to pursue foreclosure.
