As the sun dipped below the horizon at Encore Beach Club, Marshmello was only just beginning to heat up.
Wrapping up his scheduled daytime performance during the final weekend of June, the superstar DJ and producer had one more special surprise up his sleeve. Welcoming fans to an afterparty on the Wynn Resorts property, he kept spirits high throughout the evening with a tantalizing preview of new music, including a gritty new collaboration with EDM.com Class of 2024 inductee Hamdi.
The intimate setting was ideal for the high-energy sneak preview. In a moment’s notice, Mello seemingly sent the whole room bouncing off the wall to the track’s distorted riffs, achieving the quintessential, euphoric reaction most artists could only hope for when previewing their most coveted unreleased tracks.
The forthcoming single marks yet another high-profile collaboration for Hamdi, whose meteoric ascent has been catalyzed by the recent release of “Push” alongside Skrillex. Meanwhile, Marshmello has been on a tear of his own in 2024, recently dropping two groundbreaking bass EPs, including one alongside dubstep superstar SVDDEN DEATH back in April.
