Braunwyn Windham-Burke is offering an update on her relationship with her daughter, Rowan Windham-Burke, after their “falling out” earlier this year.
Months after Rowan, 21, accused the 46-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her grandmother, Deborah Windham, of spreading lies about her father, Sean Burke, Braunwyn, who is engaged to fiancee Jennifer Spinner, confirmed where they stand today while also discussing her status with Sean.
“Row and I had a falling out. Some things have happened [where] she’s needed me and of course, because I’m her mom, I’ll be there,” Braunwyn said on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast on July 4. “So my relationship with the kids is good right now.”
In February of this year, Rowan took to her Instagram page, where she slammed Braunwyn and Deborah as “narcissists” for their treatment of her father, who Braunwyn accused of “abuse and manipulation.”
“I’m done with the lies and I’m done with them trying to blast his name. Maybe for ONCE in my life someone will listen to me. Don’t believe these lies. I obviously know what’s true. And it’s not what she wrote in that caption,” she wrote at the time.
Then, as Braunwyn continued to feud with Sean over his allegedly overdue child support and alimony payments, Rowan added in another post, “I’m done with my mother and grandma spreading lies about my dad online. My dad is amazing. He is my rock, he is my greatest supporter. I only have 1 narcissist [sic] parent and it’s my mother.”
One of Braunwyn’s younger children, Jacob, 18, also took aim at the RHOC alum, slamming her as an “abuser, liar and manipulator.”
But according to Braunwyn, who also shares Bella, 23, twins Caden and Curren, 10, Koa, 9, and Hazel, 7, with Sean, “The relationship is great with the older kids.”
The same can’t be said for her and Sean.
“With Sean, it’s really hard. He’s very uncommunicative. He doesn’t reply to emails, he doesn’t tell me what’s going on with the children. He doesn’t give me important information,” she claimed. “There was sort of, like, a crisis the other day and I had no way of knowing except for my oldest daughter told me. He’s gotten a little hostile.”
