Posting a striking throwback originally shared in 1999, the actress flaunted her curves in a slinky column dress, sending out major Lady Liberty vibes as she honored Independence Day. Rocking her plunging gown with a seven-point crown headpiece, Salma even held out a mini version of the iconic Statue of Liberty, making it clear that today is all about the U.S.A. Salma, 57, was called “bad*ss” by model Carmen Electra in the comments, with another fan saying that she “looks like the Fourth of July.”

In April, the mom of one jetted out to Italy, where she posted this beyond-glam look while proving that blue is her color. Denied Roles For Being Mexican
While Salma likely gets to turn down roles these days, her early days in Hollywood were a different story.
“I remember there were two big comedies I auditioned for the lead. Afterwards, the directors told me that I was the best audition and that I was better than who they cast and that they regretted it. But at the time, they knew the studios wouldn’t have gone for a Mexican as the lead,” she told Variety in 2021.
