Teresa Giudice is reportedly enjoying a break from filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey and may not want to return to the negativity that she and her husband, Luis Ruelas, have been facing on the series in recent years.
According to a new report, Teresa, who has often pointed out that Luis, 50, “didn’t sign up” to be on the show, is tired of being at the center of drama with Luis, who has sustained verbal attacks by several of her castmates, including Margaret Josephs, 57, in recent years.
“He didn’t sign up for this,” Teresa explained, according to a July 4 report from Life & Style. “[Louie] met [me] not thinking that a lot of my cast members were gonna attack him on my show, which they did because they were trying to get to me. And they knew they didn’t have anything on me, so instead they figured, ‘Let’s hurt the person she loves,’ and that’s what they’ve been doing.”
A Life & Style insider went on to say that Teresa is happy to be getting time off from production following the cancellation of the season 14 reunion.
“And she might not want to come back,” they added.
In other RHONJ news, Teresa recently returned to her naturally curly hair.
“Took it back to her roots,” Teresa’s hair stylist, Lucia Casazza, captioned a June 27 video on Instagram. “Full install 24” curly [Lucia Hair Extensions] in ‘TERESA’ … We styled her long coils using [Color Wow Hair] dreamcoat curly, xtra large bombshell volumizer, and Shook.”
In the clip, it was noted that the hairdresser was taking out Teresa’s old extensions and replacing them with new, curly ones.
After Teresa’s hair was complete, her stylist allowed her to see the outcome for the first time.
“Oh my god! I’m back to my curls!” she responded. “I love it. Oh my god.”
Teresa also noted that “it’s been a while” since she’d sported her “naturally curly hair.”
Cazoo Beauty also shared an image of Teresa’s new locks.
“Embracing her natural curls,” the caption read.
