The new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County is practically here. This means it won’t be long before Alexis Bellino makes her return to the franchise as a friend. However, this time, she’ll be seen dating John Janssen, who is the EX of Shannon Beador.
Much of the drama regarding their relationship hasn’t been related to the show but rather to people giving their opinions. In fact, people like Teddi Mellencamp have been very vocal in their disdain for John and this relationship. Recently, Alexis confronted Teddi about some of the things she had to say.
Fans will recall that it became public knowledge that Alexis and John were dating in December of 2023. Since then, the two have been very open about their relationship and even went on a blended family vacation not long ago. This comes as John is suing his ex-girlfriend Shannon for a massive unpaid loan.
According to Heavy, Alexis recently made an appearance on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast, which Teddi hosts alongside Tamra Judge. While on the show, Alexis opened up about how she felt about what Teddi had to say about John and their romance.
Alexis said, “You have been a little dirty to my man.”
She continued to Teddi, “There’s so much to the truth that you don’t know. John is one of the kindest, nicest, most generous, amazing, god-fearing humans I know. And gives back to the world. And constantly gets beaten down and still tries to rise above. The truth is going to come out.”
She then teases the new season of RHOC and says that it will prove Teddi wrong and that “the truth will come out.” Teddi then says she looks forward to being “proven wrong.”
Alexis didn’t go into detail about what Teddi said that bothered her. However, there have been a few things. Perhaps one of the most troubling is when Teddi talked about John going to one of Shannon’s favorite restaurants with Alexis. She felt that he was doing it for attention and because he wanted to “torture” Shannon.
While on the podcast, Alexis shared that she was upset with Meghan King for accusing John of “love bombing.” She says, “If you’re my true friend and you’re worried about somebody love bombing me, pick up the [expletive] phone. And call me. And text me. Because you have my number.”
Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County starts on July 11th on Bravo.
