EXCLUSIVE: Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) and Mary Mouser (Cobra Kai) are leading the cast of the Simon & Schuster Original Audiobook Know Your Newlywed. The rom-com is written by Heather Taylor (Braaains, Anomaly) and Hillary Nussbaum (Anomaly) with Elena Armas (The Spanish Love Deception, The American Roommate Experiment) serving as executive producer.
The audiobook series will be available to purchase on December 10.
In Know Your Newlywed, Cleo (Mouser) is a researcher with big dreams of a PhD in anthrozoology and a guilty pleasure obsession with Know Your Newlywed. In this decades-old gameshow, married couples compete by answering obscure questions about each other. Posey is best known for his portrayal of Scott McCall in MTV’s Teen Wolf, a re-imagination of the Michael J. Fox film of the same name released in 1985. He played the young werewolf across the show’s six seasons and also directed. He reprised the role in the Paramount+ follow-up film Teen Wolf: The Movie released last year. Additional credits include The Real Bros of Simi Valley: The Movie, Fast & Furious Spy Racers and Jane the Virgin to name a few. Up next, Posey will be seen in the biopic Queen of the Ring.
Mouser is gearing up to premiere the sixth and final season of Netflix’s Cobra Kai on July 18. She will continue to play Samantha LaRusso, daughter of the Karate Kid himself Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). Her additional credits include Body of Proof and Scandal for ABC, CBS’ NCIS and the film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day opposite Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell.
