Weston has previously been arrested for a DUI and hit-and-run and also charged for domestic violence against ex-wife Nikki Williams.

Christina Fulton Defends Her Son’s Actions
Fulton was allegedly trying to console Weston when the incident happened as he was battling with some emotional issues.
She also released a statement on the incident, in which she denied claims that they got into a physical argument and asked the public for privacy.
However, the “Snake Eyes” actress was spotted with a black eye and fading bruises all over her face, which raised eyebrows.
In her statement, she said, “Weston and I had no argument prior to the incident. On Sunday April 28, I was reached out to by several of Weston’s best friends for assistance because they were experiencing Weston in a mental-health crisis. Upon my arrival, I was met by my son who clearly was in a state of a mental health breakdown, which in turn became a horrific experience.”

Weston Cage Was Previously Arrested For A DUI And A Hit-And-Run
Weston is no stranger to conflict with the law, as he was arrested in 2017 for a DUI and a hit-and-run.
According to the police, Weston used his car to hit many parked cars, road signs, and mailboxes before driving the vehicle into a tree. After first responders rushed him to the hospital, he was charged with DUI and later released on a $30,000 bail.
About six years prior, Weston also faced charges of domestic violence after a physical dispute with ex-wife Nikki Williams.
According to TMZ, Williams allegedly used a broken bottle to cut Weston on the arm, punched him severally, and threatened to throw herself off the balcony.
Shortly after the incident, Weston was released from jail on $50,000 bail and then took to Facebook to declare his unending love for his wife. He blamed the whole situation on a “huge misunderstanding” that only happened because they’d both taken alcohol.

At the time, Fulton spoke to Inside Edition and blamed Weston’s problems on Nicolas.
She said: “Nicolas Cage has damaged and interfered and done something absolutely horrific, and I need to just go get my son.”

Christina Fulton And Her Son Sued His Ex-Wife
Last November, Weston and his mother sued his ex-wife, Hila Arounian, alleging embezzlement of $100,000, a smear campaign against them, and a “fraudulent restraining order” that prevented Fulton from seeing her granddaughters, twin girls, Venice and Cypress.
The lawsuit filing obtained by Page Six read: “This type of character assassination is part of a disturbing pattern of behavior in which Ms. Arounian levies false, malicious allegations against people as a means of coercion and manipulation.”
Fulton also accused Arounian of manipulating Weston into filing a restraining order in 2020 as neither she nor her ex-husband, Nicolas, had met their twin granddaughters, now four.
