Teresa Giudice reveals that she thought Joe Giudice calling her the c-word on RHONJ was edited in by producers.
While appearing on Carlos King’s “Reality With the King” podcast, Teresa Giudice revisited one of her ex-husband, Joe Giudice’s most intense moments on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
If you recall, during a season 4 episode of RHONJ in 2012, Joe Giudice infamously referred to his wife Teresa Giudice as his “bitch wife” and a “c—t” while taking a phone call in Napa, California.
Teresa now reveals that she was “so pissed” watching the moment play out all those years ago.
“This is the thing, you know, when you’re with your partner, you know what you guys call each other. You guys call each other names,” she said. “I’m like, ‘My husband’s never called me the C-word.’ I’m like, ‘He’s never … You guys edited that in.’ [The show’s producers were] like, ‘Teresa, no, we didn’t.’”
The 52-year-old then reveals that Andy Cohen later called her to confirm that Joe made the comment on camera.
“He’s like, ‘Nobody edited that in. Your husband said it.’ When I watched it, I was in shock,” she continued.
Teresa says she “didn’t cry” after hearing Joe’s cruel words but notes that her now ex-husband “slept on the couch for two weeks” after the episode aired.
“I was really pissed. And he was really upset, too. I’m like, ‘I can’t believe you called me that. You never said that to me,’” she added.
The RHONJ OG then insists that her current husband, Louie Ruelas, “would never” make those kinds of comments about her on TV.
“Luis doesn’t even curse,” she said.
Teresa also addressed the infidelity rumors that plagued her marriage to Joe Giudice in its final years.
Joe Giudice always denied cheating on Teresa, and at the season 4 reunion, he claimed to regret his remarks in Napa.
However, Teresa admits that she suspected that Joe may have been unfaithful to her and contacted two women she believed he may have cheated with – one being his secretary.
“Both these bitches denied it, so what was I supposed to do?” she explained.
Despite the denials, Teresa Giudice admits that she still questions if Joe was unfaithful during their marriage.
“I’m like, ‘Just tell me, f—ker.’ And he doesn’t tell me,” she shared. “He still denies [it] till today. Do I believe him? No. I don’t believe him. I’m like, ‘Just admit it, we’re divorced now. I’m f—king somebody else.’”
