Taylor Swift In Minidress And Thigh-Highs ‘Isn’t Here To Play’

Taylor Swift couldn’t have looked more fierce in her metallic dress and matching thigh-highs as she stormed the 2018 American Music Awards. The “Fortnight” singer, 34, was still in her late twenties when she attended the high-profile event, one making instant headlines on account of her show-stopping look.  Sizzling in a reflective mosaic minidress in silver, Taylor wowed in Balmain, choosing the Kardashian-adored designer and making sure to coordinate her look from head to toe. When The Daily Mail covered Taylor’s look for the night, it noted that the pop sensation wasn’t “here to play.”

Going futuristic as she sent out robo energy, the Grammy winner dazzled in her sparkly look, opting out of a cleavage flash but upping the ante instead with a matching pair of thigh boots.

Rocking a collar detail and fabrics so tight, they clung to her every curve, Taylor teamed her dress with a high-heeled pair of boots in the same materials. Sporting heavy bangs as she wore her hair tied up, the singer channeled ’90s makeup trends via a frosted lip, sticking to matte foundation and a smokey eyeliner as she showed off her stunning features.

At the time of the photos, Taylor was dating ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who did not accompany his girlfriend to the event. 2024, of course, sees Taylor Swift more loved-up than ever as she continues her romance with NFL player Travis Kelce, also 34.

Taylor Swift may come with a reputation for burning her exes via her lyrics, but fans don’t seem to think she’ll have the chance with Travis. The Kansas City Chiefs player has openly professed his love for Taylor, although the latest sees him accompanying her on her The Eras Tour, even joining her on stage.

“Travis has been busy working and attending events in the U.S. and was thrilled he could join her in London. They loved being onstage together,” a Peoplesource reported last month as Travis made U.K. headlines for going on stage with Taylor at her Wembley concert. “He is confident and fun, and it was one of her tour highlights,” they added.

Talk was only of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in late June. Ditching his football gear for a black tie and top hat look, Travis even swept Taylor off her feet, with the Instagram post marking the night noting the 90,000-strong crowd. Fans left the post over 8 million likes.
