RHOSLC star Heather Gay announces her second memoir: Good Time Girl! Get all the details!
On Monday, July 15, Heather Gay announced her second memoir is coming out later this year.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star shared the exciting news on social media, writing:
“Honor Code, whaaatt??!!?? I’m excited to announce my second book, Good Time Girl. This book goes where Bad Mormon was afraid to and offers the Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! on life, love, and most importantly second chances. Available for preorder now!”
The cover photo and title for Heather’s second book pays homage to co-star Lisa Barlow‘s claim from season one of RHOSLC that Heather was a “good time girl” at BYU who flashed her boobs around school.
The 50-year-old’s debut memoir, Bad Mormon, was released in 2023 and detailed her journey in the Mormon Church. Good Time Girl continues to explore Heather’s exit from the Mormon Church while also diving into her “hilarious” and “deeply reflective” journey as a mother and reality TV personality.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Heather Gay says, ”The last few years have been full of experiences and adventures I never expected to have.”
“Leaving the LDS church and becoming a Real Housewife changed my life in so many ways, but at the same time, it also revealed the Good Time Girl I’ve always been. Now, with time and distance, I’m able to reflect on funny escapades I once thought I’d be too ashamed to ever share.”

“This book goes where Bad Mormon was afraid to,” she adds. “And while I won’t be flashing the audience any time soon, the cover is a nod to the girl I might’ve been in college and to the parts of me now that I’m finally ready to embrace.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.
