This year’s Kennedy Center Honors will be awarded to Francis Ford Coppola, The Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval And The Apollo.
The ceremony will take place in early December, for broadcast on Dec. 23 on CBS.
The Apollo will receive special honors as an iconic American institution, according to the announcement.
