As our sneak peek will reveal, the clash of the generations continues on MasterChef as things heat up!!
The contestants will face off with one another during their first field competition, and it’s certainly a tall order for all involved.
And TV Fanatic has an exclusive first look at an all-new episode!
Going Big, STADIUM BIG!
After an extensive audition process led us to our favorite chefs from each generation and some mystery box action under the belts, or rather, aprons, it’s time to hit the field.
And by the field, we mean BMO Stadium for a super-sized field challenge that will keep the remaining contestants on their toes.

If you didn’t already know, BMO Stadium is the home of the Los Angeles Football Club, also known as the 2022 MLS Champions.
You can’t get in the winning spirit without being on the winner’s turf.
For the first field challenge, the remaining contestants will have to serve over 100 food portions to professional soccer players.
Do you see what we mean about it being a “tall order?”
If you didn’t already know, before Gordon Ramsay became a famous household-name chef, his original dream was to become a professional soccer player.
Oops, we mean football player, as they say across the pond.
Unfortunately, Ramsay injured himself, thus putting an end to his aspirations of going professional.
But he poured all that passion into another talent, and that’s how we got the Ramsay we know best.
As Joe Bastianich states in the sneak peek, “Looks like that’s working out well for you.”
Indeed it is.

But knowing that Ramsay is passionate about soccer only adds intense pressure to the contestants.
They better bring their A-game.
Four Generations + Two Teams = Ultimate Clash
What’s exciting about this field challenge is that it will require the four generations to split into a Red and Blue Team.
The question is which generations will the judges pair together and how well they will work.
We’ve seen that they’re already quite competitive, and the generational wars get intense.
But which generations will make decent teams?
Each of them has a different style, and some may not vibe with one another.
We also know that the Millennials and Gen X have already lost members of their teams.
Would they be formidable together, or would it make sense to pair one of those generations with one of the others for a balanced team?

An Intense Battle of the Generations
The teams will kickstart an intense battle, and the generations may not play nicely together.
The teams will have to perform head-to-head with each other to deliver a hungry huddle of professional soccer players and others adjacent.
The goal is for both teams to serve all 100 plates so that their patrons can rate who has the best dish and food.
And they’ll have to create a nice hearty meal to accommodate these athletes.
Their meals will also need to be healthy as well.
Our exclusive clip has a bit of a Ted Lasso nod.
Selectively colored seats in the stadium form the MasterChef emblem just for this challenge.
And all three judges are donning soccer gear in honor of the occasion.
