Ariana Madix took aim at Tom Sandoval on her Instagram Story on Tuesday after learning that Vanderpump Rules had received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.
After her 42-year-old ex-boyfriend shockingly filed a lawsuit against her, claiming she did not have permission to access his phone when she caught him cheating in March 2023, Ariana, 39, shared her reaction to the Emmy nod and included a very telling song.
“Congratulations to everyone at [Evolution Media] [Bravo] and to everyone who makes this show great!” Ariana wrote in the caption of her July 17 post, which featured a cast photo from season 11 and a “well done” sticker over Sandoval’s face.
Ariana also included Taylor Swift‘s new single, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” which includes lyrics like, “Lights, camera, b*tch smile, even when you wanna die,” and, “He said he’d love me all his life.”
“I cry a lot but I am so productive, it’s an art … You know you’re good when you can even do it … With a broken heart,” Taylor sings on the track.
Following the news of Sandoval’s case against her, which prompted both Katie Maloney, 37, and Scheana Shay, 39, to speak out against him, with Scheana telling him to “f*ck off,” it was confirmed that the lawyer he is using, Matthew Geragos, is actually the brother of Mark Geragos, the lawyer representing his former mistress, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, in her revenge porn case against the two of them.
Upon the filing of Sandoval’s lawsuit against Ariana, Matthew offered a statement to Us Weekly, insisting that the filing with nothing more than a “customary” procedure.
“While Tom Sandoval accepts responsibility for his affair, he strongly denies the allegations of the lawsuit filed by Rachel Leviss against him and Ms. Madix,” Matthew’s statement read. “In order to ensure a fair and just determination of responsibility among all parties involved, we filed a cross complaint on behalf of Mr. Sandoval. This customary legal action was crucial to ensure that liability, if any, is fairly distributed based on the actual level of involvement and fault of each party. We aim to resolve this legal dispute with utmost respect towards all parties involved.”
According to Sandoval’s case, Ariana was not authorized to look through his phone when she came across sexual videos of Raquel and allegedly sent them to third parties, which prompted Raquel’s case against them.
In addition to Ariana denying having sent the clips to others, her attorney slammed Sandoval for his continued torture in response to his case against her.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to go into production sometime later this year.
