Christina Haack’s Estranged Husband To Miss Out On New Show

Christina Haack, who still has Hall as her last name, is moving on emotionally and professionally from her estranged husband, Josh Hall.

The “Flip or Flop” star recently made waves for her third divorce, a proceeding that may be a bitter court battle over the duo’s differences. Hall wants rights to their reality TV shows, but she’s kicking him out.

According to new reports, Christina’s upcoming HGTV series won’t feature Hall following his split from the reality TV star. “They are in production of The Flip Off without Josh. They’re moving forward with the show without him,” an insider claimed.

The source noted the pair’s separation wasn’t a “sudden” occurrence, with them allegedly having “issues for a while.”

It is unclear what they disagreed on; however, Christina once confessed it was challenging working with Hall. Christina became an HGTV star years ago, working with Tarek El Moussa on the “Flip or Flop” series.

When she got her titular show “Christina on the Coast,” per US Magazine, Hall made several appearances that seemingly scored him a more prominent role in her upcoming show.

As stated, “The Flip Off” project features Christina alongside her ex-husband and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. It seemed to have a spot for Hall, with his estranged wife hinting he would play a significant role in a July 2023 interview.

“We’re working together just, like, hand in hand and discovering what that dynamic is and looks like,” Christina revealed, “I mean, it’s never easy to work with a spouse, so we’re just really discovering.”

“I’m used to being the boss of everything, especially when it comes to design. This is a whole new dynamic for us, and it’s gonna be interesting how it plays out,” she confessed. Unfortunately, fans won’t get to see their on-screen dynamic.

While the real reason behind their divorce remains a mystery, Christina and Hall cited “irreconcilable differences” in their divorce filings on Monday, July 15. However, they had conflicting days of separation.

Christina listed the duo’s separation date as July 7, while Hall claimed it was July 8. Although there is a slight difference, it showed that one spouse was done with the marriage a day earlier than the other.

In her filing, the reality TV star reserved her right to amend her documents with a list of separate property assets and debts. She also requested for her last name to be legally restored to Christina.

As The Blast shared, Hall’s divorce filing included several demands that may turn the case into a bitter battle. He showcased an unwillingness to share financial responsibility, telling the court to terminate Christina’s rights to alimony.

Meanwhile, he wanted Christina to cough up an undisclosed amount in spousal support. He also asked the court to grant him rights to any HGTV and/or Discovery Network shows or specials produced during his marriage.

The estranged spouses do not seem to have a prenuptial agreement to ease the splitting of their assets and belongings. Instead, Hall requested that the court divide what was theirs before their marriage.

Two months before separating from Hall, The Blast reported that Christina went viral for her tight bond with the El Moussas. The trio showcased their friendship in a hilarious Instagram post.

The video began with Tarek and Heather ordering a chai latte at a coffee shop, with the latter rocking a long-sleeved white top and a white pleated miniskirt. Her blonde hair was styled in gorgeous waves that fell down her shoulders.

However, when Tarek returned with the chai latte, he accidentally gave it to Haack, whose blonde hair and outfit mirrored Heather’s. The moment hilariously ended with Tarek getting slapped for the mix-up.
