Eve is a 2022 K-drama that recently became available on Netflix. It stars Seo Ye-Ji, Park Byung-Eun, Yoo Sun, and Lee Sang-Yeob in the lead roles. The revenge drama revolves around a woman who vows to avenge her father’s death.

The official synopsis reads, “Determined to avenge her family, Lee Ra-El begins a dangerous dance of vengeance by infiltrating the powerful family responsible for destroying hers.” She has been planning her revenge plan for 13 years and her target is LY Group CEO Kang Yoon-Kyum. Ra-El shows no mercy to her family’s culprits but her actions can also put her in grave danger.

What are Eve K-drama characters & their roles?

Eve K-drama consists of four main cast members — Seo Ye-Ji, Park Byung-Eun, Yoo Sun, and Lee Sang-Yeob. 

Seo Ye-Ji as Lee Ra-El/Kim Sun-Bin

Ye-Ji plays the lead character of Ra-El/Sun-Bin in the K-drama. When she was young, her father died because of a rich people scheme. Her family’s life is turned upside down post the tragedy. For 13 years, she worked on a revenge plan. Her prime target is chaebol Kang Yoon-Kyum, who is the LY Group CEO with a beautiful wife. She decides the best way to destroy his life is: divorce. Hence, Ra-El slyly enters into his life and seduces him. However, the plan may put her life in danger.

Meanwhile, actress Ye-Ji is one of the top stars in the Korean entertainment industry. She is known for her roles in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Hwarang, and Lawless Lawyer. She has also starred in movies like Recalled, Quantum Physics, Stay With Me, and The Bros. Interestingly, Ye-Ji has not appeared in any movie or drama after Eve.

Park Byung-Eun as Kang Yoon-Gyeom

Byung-Eun plays LY Group CEO Kang Yoon-Kyum. He is a powerful yet corrupt man with many negative traits. Although he has a beautiful wife, he is attracted to Ra-El. She manages to affect his decisions, which brings trouble in his married life. Actor Byung-Eun has previously worked in multiple dramas, including This Is My First Life, Kingdom, The Great Battle, The Bequeathed, and Moving. He has also made guest appearances in The Midnight Studio, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Destined With You, and Alchemy of Souls. Byung-Eun is also a talented movie star, with titles like Assassination, Decibel, and The Moon under his belt.

Yoo Sun as Han So-Ra

Yoo Sun essays the roles of Yoon-Gyeom’s wife So-Ra. She becomes suspicious of her husband and starts acting out. So-Ra makes Ra-El’s life miserable after suspecting her to be Yoon-Gyeom’s lover. Aside from Eve, Yoo Sun has acted in dramas, such as Pale Moon, Queen of Masks, Move to Heaven, My Too Perfect Sons, and Criminal Minds. Some of her filmography includes Good Morning, Sweet & Sour, Black House, The Chosen: Forbidden Cave, and Don’t Cry Mommy.

Lee Sang-Yeob as Seo Eun-Pyung

Sang-Yeob plays Seo Eun-Pyung, who knows Ra-El’s past and her revenge plan. He has feelings for her and wants her to help in her plan. The actor has previously appeared in Korean dramas, including Sh**ting Stars, Once Again, The Hymn of Death, While You Were Sleeping, and Signal. He has also done many supporting roles in some films.

Aside from the aforementioned, the Korean drama also stars Jeon Gook-Hwan, Jung Hae-Kyun, So Hee-Jung, Son So-Mang, Kim Ye-Eun, Lee Ji-Ha, Lee Il-Hwa, Kim Shi-WooLee Ha-Yul, and many more. Filmmaker Park Bong-Sub has directed the series while Yoon Young-Mi is the screenwriter.

Seo Yea-Ji’s Eve K-drama streaming details

Eve Korean drama is available online on multiple streaming platforms. Viewers can watch all 16 episodes on Rakuten Viki. Recently, it started streaming on Netflix and has grabbed the attention of K-drama fans, globally. Originally, the series broadcasted on tvN and ran from June 1, 2022, to July 21, 2022.
