Kathy Hilton Had to ‘Calm Down’ Kyle Over Pics of Mauricio

Kathy Hilton is admitting she had to ‘calm down’ sister Kyle Richards after seeing photos of her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky kissing another woman. Kathy also was spotted in a strange video in the middle of a runway as a model almost ran into her – and fans reacted.

Last week, a photo surfaced of Mauricio passionately kissing a woman, since revealed to be Nikita Kahn, on the lips at an airport in Mykonos. He and Kyle have been separated for a while, though many fans were hoping they’d reconcile. After the images surfaced, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star removed ‘wife’ from her Instagram bio.

In a new interview with Page Six, Kathy is admitting Kyle didn’t take it so well despite her own ongoing romance rumors involving singer Morgan Wade.

“I think it was a hard pill to swallow seeing it,” Kathy told the outlet on Monday night at castmate Sutton Stracke’s fashion show in Los Angeles.

“So what I’m trying to do is just kind of calm her down a little bit. ‘You know this was bound to happen. You’ve been separated.’”

Kathy also addressed the issue in a separate interview with ET.

“Eventually it was gonna happen, and I think it’s very difficult to see,” said Kathy. “I was concerned about her, but I spent the whole day with her that day.”

Kathy shared she “was really more concerned with how [their daughters] were gonna take it.” As for Kyle herself, Kathy said “she looks the best she’s ever looked.”

In an April interview with the same outlet, Kyle gave a shout out to their daughters for supporting her amid the separation.

“They just have been the most unbelievable source of support for me. It’s funny because I am the mom, but they are giving me advice and they’re just so smart and so together,” said Kyle. “Obviously, as a mom, I worry about them first. But they really have been taking care of me, too. These have been some of my most proud moments as a mom, honestly. How they’ve handled all this.”

Around the same time, Kathy was caught in the middle of a runway at Sutton’s fashion show in a bizarre video shared by @jadonmedina, via @queensofbravo on Instagram.

In the footage, a standing Kathy was greeting a woman seated in the front row – as a runway model almost bumped into Kathy. Spectators began to laugh while the model walked around her.

Fans then shared their reactions in the comments.

“She’s fashion roadkill,” wrote the account who shared the video.

“I’m sorry but Kathy can do no wrong. She’s so funny and oblivious to me. Gotta love her,” said another.

“This is soo embarrassing, and it’s just soo rude,” claimed one critic. “She is so self-centered, that she doesn’t even see people around her, or take other people in consideration. She looks surprised that the model is there, like she is in HER way.”

“I love her. Yall can’t make me quit her,” wrote a different user.
