Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Wilson, who changed her name and gender following her 18th birthday, hopped on Threads to slam her father for leaving out some details about her transition.
As we previously reported, Musk spoke about Wilson’s gender transition and legal name change, adopting her mother’s surname, Justine Wilson, in 2022. He alleged that he was “tricked” into signing documents allowing Vivian to receive puberty blockers. Musk referred to Wilson using male pronouns and her birth name, claiming that his “son” had been “killed” by “the woke mind virus” during a recent interview and the clip quickly went viral on social media.

On Thursday, Wilson responded to Musk on her Threads account, disputing his statements. She specifically addressed a tweet from Monday where he claimed she was born “gay and slightly autistic.” Wilson took a screenshot of that tweet and said “There’s a lot of stuff I need to debunk which I will get to don’t worry, but I want to start with what I find the funniest which is the notorious ‘slightly autistic’ tweet. This is entirely fake,” Wilson wrote in a second post. “Like, literally none of this ever happened. Ever. I don’t even know where he got this from. My best guess is that he went to the Milo [Yiannopoulos] school of gay stereotypes, just picked some at random, and said ‘eh- good enough’ in a last-ditch attempt to garner sympathy points when he is so obviously in the wrong even in his own f***ing story.”
When she legally changed her name and gender in 2022, she told a California court that she no longer wanted to be connected to Musk in any way. At that time, Musk had already criticized preferred pronouns in his tweets and mentioned possibly supporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who had backed the state’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” law in 2022, if he ran for president in 2024.

Regarding Musk’s claims about her childhood interests in musicals and fashion, Wilson said they didn’t make sense because young children typically don’t understand those concepts.
“This entire thing is completely made up and there’s a reason for this,” she wrote. “He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.” Wilson then brushed aside Musk’s insistence that she’s not a woman, noting that she’s legally recognized as female. Musk himself, she said, is lost “in a ketamine-fueled haze, desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him.”
