Recently, actress Kim Hye-Yoon recalled the proposal scene in Lovely Runner during an interview with Singles Korea Magazine. The scene featured Byeon Woo-Seok’s character Ryu Sun-Jae with a ring in his palm. In a 20-question session, when asked to select the most exciting scene, she chose to talk about this scene in particular.
As reported by Sports Chosun, the actress says, “I can’t even imagine it yet, but there was a scene where Seonjae proposed and the ring was on his palm. When I indirectly experienced that scene, I felt like, ‘This is why people get teary-eyed when they get proposed to.’ I had very complex emotions, and that was a very exciting scene.”
In the Singles Korea interview, the interviewer also asks Kim Hye-Yoon what the most exciting date scene is for her in Lovely Runner. The actress goes on to say, “The cherry blossom wish scene was really exciting. And the amusement park date. I really like amusement rides, so it might be because I felt that way because I had a lot of fun filming them, but the amusement park date was also fun.”
