Wendy Osefo, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, recently defended Kamala Harris’ qualifications against Trump’s on News Nation. The 40-year-old shared the clip with her followers on X, formerly known as Twitter, on July 26.

Wendy Osefo Defends Kamala Harris’ Presidential Qualifications Against Donald Trump
Dr. Osefo isn’t allowing anyone to play on Kamala’s top! She posted a video from the program showing her standing ten toes behind the likely Democratic nominee. Along with the clip, she wrote, “Because if we are being VERY honest, VP #KamalaHarris is overqualified while Former President #Trump is a product of white privilege #Election2024.”
During the segment, Wendy addressed comments a male correspondent made that questioned Kamala’s qualifications. He argued that because Joe Biden said he “would pick a woman of color” to be his VP, it somehow “undermines [Kamala’s] qualifications.”
“What qualifications does Donald Trump have to be the President of the United States?” she asked. Wendy continued, “If Kamala Harris is a DEI hire, then if we’re being honest, Donald Trump is a hire of White privilege because he’s not qualified to sit at 1600 Pennslyvania Avenue.”
“He does not have the qualifications to be the President of the United States. And to be quite honest Kamala Harris is overqualified to have her position,” she contended before adding, “And so I think that this question of whether or not she should be situated there doesn’t make any sense.”
