JT recently appeared on ‘Ebro In The Morning’ and discussed how Lil Uzi Vert influences her fashion. Additionally, the rapper recalled the hard criticism she received for attempting an edgy new look.

JT Shares How Lil Uzi Vert Influences Her Style
The ‘City Cinderella’ recalled a time when her boyfriend styled her at the beginning of their relationship. However, she was not feelin’ the ‘fit. Jatavia stated that she “looked like Batman.” The rapper said she was “quiet” the entire “plane ride” to the gathering. The 31-year-old said she was “in somebody’s backyard with a full Rick runway outfit.”
JT stated that “it was a time and place” for certain looks. The Miami native said she “adjusted” and began to take fashion risks of her own. She said people criticize her outfits and then “try it later.”
The ‘Servin’ rapper then shared that she’s “always been into make-up.” For her birthday, she did a photoshoot and dyed her eyebrows blond for the pics. JT was subsequently dragged for the edgy choice. The entertainer said, “Everybody was like goin’ the f*** nuts because they never seen blond eyebrows on a hood b**** before.”
“It broke the internet… in a bad way,” JT shared. She stated social media “was calling me all type of names.”
Furthermore, her friend Monica, who passed away in a car accident, “took [her] to her first fashion show in Paris.” She advised Jatavia to “do her own style” and “be herself.” JT said that she wore black and created a lip look that went viral “in a great way.”
“Over time… it’s like now I know myself authentically,” she said. JT expressed that she combines her style with high fashion looks and “the style [Uzi] gave [her]. The ‘Star of the Show’ rapper said now she has her own unique style.
