Netflix‘s new TV and movie releases for July 29 – August 4 2024 include the Spanish series Love of My Life.
On July 31, Netflix subscribers can check out Love of My Life. Created by Asier Aguilar, this Spanish drama series follows Mariana Azcarate, the feisty daughter of a wealthy landowner who falls in love with a young laborer Joaquin Mosquera, who is very charismatic. Unfortunately for Mariana and Joaquin, their respective families have every intention of ruthlessly separating the couple. This series tackles various issues like race and class discrimination. It also deals with themes of power, betrayal, and revenge.
The cast of Love of My Life features Sergio Herrera, Maria Jose Camacho, Jair Romero, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Ricardo Meija, Luis Geronimo Abreu, Melanie Dell’Olmo, Jairo Camargo, and Paula Castano.
Also releasing on Netflix this week are Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa and Unsolved Mysteries Volume 4.
Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa is a documentary series following a Nepali mountaineer. This documentary sees the mountaineer go on a record-breaking journey to climb Mount Everest, also hoping to ensure a bright future for her daughters.
Meanwhile, Unsolved Mysteries is a documentary series following various dark cases involving murder, disappearance, and paranormal activity. This series is a revival of 1988’s Unsolved Mysteries.
