Will Trent Season 4 Episode 15 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch

It looks like a live-action Voltron movie might actually be moving forward at Amazon MGM Studios. According to The Insneider the film has been greenlit, and the film will start casting in the coming months.

Rawson Marshall Thurber, the director of Red Notice, Sky Scraper, and Central Intelligence, is set to direct the movie. Thurber came up with the story and will alsol co-write the script with Ellen Shanman.

This film has been a long time coming and as a longtime fan of Voltron, I hope that the creative team does something awesome and epic with it. If done right, this should be a visually stunning movie-going experience.

I’ve visualized this movie in my own head, and knowing Hollywood, it won’t live up to the expectations that I’ve built up for it in my own imagination. Good luck to the creative team to try and blow audiences away with this!

Voltron: Defender of the Universe follows five young pilots in a battalion named the Robot Lions, which are vehicles that join together to form a mega robot known as Voltron.

Together they fight against Emperor Zarkon, the cruel leader of the Galra Empire, who for over 10,000 years has been searching the universe for the Voltron lions.

Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman are producing with Bob Koplar, the head of World Events Productions, the company that controls the Voltron property.

Do you think Thurber will deliver the awesome Voltron film we’ve all be hoping for?
