The concrete heart of New York City is about to beat to a very different rhythm, thanks to We Belong Here.

The Miami-based electronic music event organizer recently announced an ambitious New York City festival, a rare event taking place at the iconic Wollman skating rink in Central Park. Scheduled for October 4-6, it’s the first time We Belong Here is bringing its renowned boutique festival experience and signature 360° stage to the City That Never Sleeps.

Trading blades for bass, the frozen oasis of the Wollman Rink will essentially transform into an open-air house music haven. For three days, the rink will shed its winter skin and cook to the sounds of its superstar headliners, Kaskade, FISHER and Monolink, all of whom are making their Central Park debut.

“I cannot overstate how excited I am to play We Belong Here in Central Park,” Kaskade said in a statement. “New York City has always set the bar for the most iconic locations possible. The idea of me playing in Central Park in the shadow of the city I love so much is definitely a high, and I’m looking forward to that beautiful park and energy that only lives in NYC.”

“Our intention is to create truly one-of-a-kind experiences by bringing world-class artists to beautiful and historic locations,” added Justin Dauman, Co-Founder of We Belong Here. “To see FISHER, Monolink and Kaskade perform in Central Park is something we dreamed of as dance music fans. Now, with an amazing team, we are able to bring it to life for the people of New York and the greater community of music lovers to enjoy together.”
