Michaelah Montgomery, a Black GOP activist who attended Clark Atlanta University, stole the show at former President Donald Trump‘s rally in Atlanta, where she also dragged Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the presumptive Democratic nominee in the 2024 presidential race.

On Saturday (August 3), Michaelah Montgomery — who is the founder of Conserve the Culture, which recruits and educates college students and young alumni at Atlanta’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) — not only proudly supported Donald Trump, but she also ripped Kamala Harris to shreds. Now, before making headlines tonight, Montgomery first went viral in April after she arranged for Donald Trump to make a stop at an Atlanta Chick-fil-A restaurant during his 2024 campaign.
At the April visit, Trump was warmly greeted by a Black audience full of local residents, activists, and students enrolled at some of the nation’s most iconic HBCUs, like Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morris Brown College.
Speaking on the event she coordinated and the backlash received, Montgomery then said, “People find it so hard to believe that there are young Black people who would have loved the opportunity to meet Trump. Everybody got together at around 9:30 in the morning and walked on over to the Chick-fil-A and then we sat there and waited until the president showed up. It’s really disheartening to see that the media makes it seem like we just stumbled into a Chick-fil-A and he bought us milkshakes. They are claiming that the students made a mockery of their institutions and saying that they are disrespecting their ancestors. It is really, really bad.”

At Donald Trump’s Atlanta, Georgia rally on Saturday, Michaelah Montgomery continued to show up and show out for her future president, even dubbing him “Big T.” Before Trump entered the arena and gave his speech, Montgomery was introduced to the stage, where she gave a speech for 10 minutes.
During her address to Donald Trump’s supporters, Michaelah Montgomery boasted about his good deeds for the Black community and HBCUs, while slamming Kamala Harris, her duties, alleged pandering to Black folks, and her ethnicity. To note: Harris has long identified herself as Black, contrary to Trump’s claims. While her mother is Indian, her father is a Black man from Jamaica, making her Black and Indian-American.
After attacking Kamala Harris’ current and previous positions in government, Michaela Montgomery was reintroduced to the stage when Donald Trump was giving his address. Recalling how they met, he said that Montgomery, who attended Clark Atlanta University, recognized him in public and commended him for “saving” her college. He said from there he has dubbed her “smart” and “so sharp.” Together, they even joked about Montgomery laying a kiss on him and him playfully claiming he wasn’t going back home to his wife and former First Lady Melania Trump.
