Days with My Stepsister episode 5 recap

Days with My Stepsister episode 5, “A Late Show and the Real Deal,” shows Yuta Asamura and Shiori Yomiuri conversing about a book called “A Rift in the Blue Night.” After discussing the book’s plot, they realize it has been adapted into a movie.

Shiori suggests they watch the movie after their shift ends. Later, Yuta and Shiori watch the movie intently. It shows a little boy running restlessly at night. He climbs down a wall to see an angelic woman standing with a violin.

She hands the violin to the boy, saying she must protect it from some men. However, she only has six months to live. The movie ends with the little boy taking the woman by her hand as she awaits her death to take her where she wants to go when there is still time.

Later, Shiori tells Yuta she only has six months to live. However, Yuta brushes it off as a hoax. The next day, Saki visits Yuta and Shiori’s workplace to find a study and a book.

Shiori is friendly to her, and Yuta guides her with the books. After Saki leaves, Shiori calls her “real deal,” but Yuta dismisses her, reiterating she is his little sister.
