What is The Meg about?

The Meg is a thrilling adventure action film. It takes the viewers to the deepest depths of the ocean and follows a group of scientists on a deep-sea research mission when their submersible is attacked by a colossal creature. They find themselves trapped in the Mariana Trench which is the deepest part of the ocean, with a prehistoric giant shark known as a Megalodon. The scientists must work together to survive and find a way to escape before the Meg attacks again. To survive, they face numerous challenges, including limited oxygen, equipment malfunctions, and the relentless pursuit of the deadly creature.

The stellar cast consists of Jason Statham as Jonas Taylor, Li Bingbing as Dr. Zhang, Rainn Wilson as Morris, Cliff Curtis as James Mackreides, Ruby Rose as Jaxx, and Jessica McNamee as Lori. It also features Masi Oka as Toshi, and Winston Chao as Dr. Zhang.
