“I love that Tyler is paying Black actors now I wish he would hire Black writers and directors that have experience to help him with his movies… He could improve the movies & make them award worthy if he would stop trying to save money by doing the writing and directing himself,” Love said.
Now in a new post she states that someone sent her a blog that claimed that she made some false comments about Perry. “I am not in a feud with Tyler Perry there was one suggestion that I made because he’s paying black actors so well which is great but I have no problems with Tyler Perry I have no problems with the fact of how he runs his movies, I just made a simple suggestion of maybe hiring some more black creatives,” she said in a new post to her Instagram.

Tyler Perry has faced criticism for writing and directing most of his projects alone, including his TV shows like “Sistas” and recent films like “Divorce In The Black” and “Mea Culpa”. Despite promising to delegate more creative control to writers, his latest films have still been met with largely negative reviews, with “Mea Culpa” receiving only a 17% critic score and 37% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. This suggests that Perry’s approach to solo writing and directing may not be yielding the desired results.
