RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice defends her husband, Louie Ruelas, wishing suffering on Margaret Josephs’ son and calls her co-star “evil.”
During the RHONJ season 14 reunion, Teresa Giudice stood up for her husband after he said he hoped Margaret Josephs’ family would suffer amid their ongoing feud.
In the August 4th finale episode, Louie Ruelas made some harsh comments about Margaret Josephs‘ family before the RHONJ cast sat down for their “last supper.”
“Tell her to stay away from our family,” Louie said. “And, you know what? I hope Margaret and her family suffer. I hope her f–king son suffers.”
Margaret didn’t take the dig lightly, saying, “I’m horrified. I had to make the sign of the cross. That’s disgusting.”
Her BFF Melissa Gorga added: “That was one of the lowest lows I’ve ever seen said on The Housewives of New Jersey.”
Even Teresa’s closest allies in the RHONJ cast were shocked by Louie’s harsh words.
“Louie’s gonna get a lot of s–t for that, Teresa,” Dolores Catania warned. “For what he said about the son.”
However, Teresa defended her husband’s ill wishes.
“I don’t care,” the 52-year-old replied. “Listen, my kids suffered! My stepson suffered. My daughters suffered.”
When Dolores argued, “That’s wrong,” Teresa fired back, “Dolores, please, don’t stick up for her.”
“Just drop it,” the RHONJ OG continued. “He was upset. People make mistakes. I know he did not mean to say that. I’ll make sure he says sorry.”
Louie Ruelas eventually publicly apologized to Margaret and her family.
“The finale was very tough for me to watch, and I wanted to address it with you all,” Louie wrote on his Instagram Stories two days after the RHONJ season 14 finale aired. “After watching the finale, I was disappointed in my actions in bringing up Margaret Josephs’ son. The reason he was even brought up was because I have been dealing with being falsely accused of calling her son at work, which is simply not true.”
“I know better not to bring someone’s child up,” he added, “and it is something I deeply regret so I do want to apologize and acknowledge that I was wrong.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.
