Here’s a trailer for an upcoming survival adventure film from producer Sylvester Stallone titled Lost on a Mountain in Maine.
The indie film is based on the best-selling book by the same name, the movie tells “the inspiring story of a 12-year-old boy (Luke David Blumm), who, separated from his family during a hike by a fast-moving storm, must fight to stay alive during his nine-day adventure lost in the backwoods of Maine.”
This is a true story, and it looks like a solid film that is worth checking out, but I like these kinds of stories. I got lost in the woods once on a hike when I went off-trail, and took me a few hours to find my way out. That was a weird experience.
Anyway, the film was directed Andrew Boodhoo Kightlinger, and it also stars Paul Sparks, Caitlin FitzGerald, Ethan Slater, and Griffin Wallace Henkel.
The film recently premiered at the 2024 Maine Film Festival last month. Blue Fox Ent. will release the film in select US theaters on November 1st, 2024.
