Season one of Andor was a ton of fun, and it renewed some Star Wars fans’ faith in the franchise’s ability to make a great series. It’s cool that the show came right out and made its objective clear, knowing that it will end where the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story pick up.

While it’s too bad that the show will have a short run, it’s fun to be along for the ride. Last week, star of the series Diego Luna teased that season 2 of the show will change how you see the movie Rogue One.

Now, his co-star, Adria Arjona, is also opening up about her thoughts on season 2, telling THR: “Oh man, when I read season one, I pinched myself, and when I started reading season two, I was like, ‘[Tony Gilroy] can’t outdo [season one].’

“I was again like, ‘It’s not going to be as good.’ But it’s fucking better. It’s so much better. It is,” Arjona insists. “What he has crafted and created is mind-blowing, and I can’t believe I got to be a part of it. He’s so talented, and he really outdid himself for season two.”

So that sounds like a pretty great endorsement! It sounds like season 2 is going to be even bigger and better than the first. During an interview last week with Entertainment Weekly, series star Diego Luna said he thinks that the series might come to theaters for a fun event that would see Andor Season 2 lead right into Rogue One. When asked about the probability of that, Luna said: “It’s high…. It’s very high.”

What do you think about all this hype? Season 2 of Andor will be released in 2025.
