Emily Ratajkowski has clapped back after a man yelled at her to “wear a shirt” on the street. Making instant headlines for the story this week, the 33-year-old supermodel updated her Instagram with selfie footage of the drama, one bringing both the moment she was told to cover up and her response. Firing back as she used a viral meme trend, Emily defended her busty look, although feedback in the comments proved mixed. Emily has spent much of 2024 facing backlash from her own followers whom, it would seem, are tired of her “always” being in a skimpy or next-to-nothing outfit.

Opting for a plunging and eye-popping neckline, the Inamorata founder afforded a hefty cleavage flash while highlighting her toned waistline, with a pair of tight black yoga pants continuing the sporty look.

Holding her phone in one hand as she walked dog Colombo on a leash, EmRata flashed her abs in her scoop-neck top, one doing wonders for her bombshell figure. However, it would seem that some members of the public thought that Emily Ratajkowski was showing a little too much.

Out of nowhere, a male voice told Emily to “put a shirt on.” Emily, who was playing Charli XCX’s “Brat” track, appeared to choose a snippet from the 32-year-old’s song to accentuate her clap-back.” Who the f**k are you? I’m a brat when I’m bumpin’ that. Now I wanna hear my track, are you bumpin’ that?'” Charli sang as Emily wrote:

“Wait for it: man tells me to put on a shirt.” In a caption, she added: ” Famously not demure, famously not mindful.” The whole “demure” and “mindful” thing has become a celebrity-trend beyond its TikTok origin, with everyone from Jennifer Lopez and Lily Collins to Jenna Ortega using it.

Comments came in fast. “I mean, he’s kinda right,” one fan said, gaining over 60 likes. “Not all men, but always a man” was a hugely popular comment gaining over 13,000 likes. Others, however, had thoughts beyond the video’s feminist agenda.

“Just curious who else walks around while they selfie themselves as they cross the street,” one fan said. Others, however, paid homage to their favorite model with support, with one fan saying: “Bruh who says that to Emrata.” It’s worth noting that the above Instagram photo was an ad for Emily’s swimwear line, and not a paparazzi photo.
