Alexis Bellino and her boyfriend, John Janssen, are engaged after nine months of dating. The RHOC star says she and John are “on cloud 9.”
On Wednesday, August 28, Alexis Bellino and John Janssen got engaged as they celebrated their nine-month anniversary.
The RHOC season 18 star announced the happy news on Instagram, writing:
“On Cloud 9 ??? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??, celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you. Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together with our kids. And the answer is 100000000% yes.1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.? #giftfrommymom.”
The 61-year-old Orange County businessman proposed to Alexis Bellino on Tuesday, Aug. 27, during a getaway to the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.
A rep for the pair told PEOPLE:
“John & Alexis are happily engaged and look forward to their long future together as husband and wife.”
Details of the engagement or Alexis’ engagement ring have yet to be released. Alexis’ Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars still have not reacted to her and John’s engagement news.
Alexis and John first met in November of 2023 during a run-in with a mutual friend at The Quiet Woman, a popular eatery in Orange County that is often featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
By December, the two were officially an item and went public with their romance.
Initially, the two fought over their feelings for each other as they had just emerged from long-term relationships. The RHOC star and her former fiancé, Andy Bohn, ended their engagement in September 2023.
Meanwhile, after three years of dating, John had split from RHOC star Shannon Beador in late 2022. They later reconciled in 2023 but ultimately split again in September.
