RHOP star Candiace Dillard and her husband, Chris Bassett, reveal they are having a baby boy. Get all the details!
The 37-year-old pregnant Bravo star and her husband reveal to Us Weekly that they are expecting a baby boy this fall.
“I started to feel a masculine energy,” the RHOP star shares. “I just couldn’t deny the feeling of a sweet little boy growing inside of me.”
“I’m so happy to have a fall baby,” she adds.
Candiace Dillard explains that she is soaking up every minute of her pregnancy and is enjoying everything from the food cravings to planning her son’s Alice in Wonderland-themed nursery.
“It’s the most magical and indescribable experience,” she confesses. “I think I’m actually going to miss it, but I also can’t wait to meet him and stare at him all day!”
“Olive Garden spaghetti with meat sauce, Apple Jacks cereal and watermelon have been the top contenders,” Candiace says of her pregnancy cravings. “I’ve also had a few stretches where all I wanted was smash burgers … that was a great time.”
In April, Candiace Dillard announced that she was expecting her first child with her husband, who has three children from two previous relationships.
The RHOP star shared the big news with ET, “I am about 13 weeks … so just about into the second trimester. It’s been weird, but also really wonderful, I think, to keep it kind of to ourselves to this point.”
“Our immediate family knows, my mom — I told my mom on her birthday in February — my dad knows, [Chris’] parents know, my siblings know, and that is my core, best friend group, but outside of that, it’s just been, like, kind of quietly just growing a bun,” Candiace said at the time.
“I always wondered, like, how would I know when I was ready? And I always felt like a part of my anxiety was that I wasn’t sure that I would know, and when I knew, it was undeniable. I kind of woke up and realized that I was never going to be 100 percent ready. I just had to … trust the process and trust my doctors and stop being afraid and just do it. So once we decided together that we were going to do that — together — it just was kind of all moving by faith from there,” she continued.
RHOP will return to Bravo this fall.
