Netflix Teases Prince Harry’s New Polo Docu-Series
Harry and Meghan’s $100 million deal with Netflix is still going strong as the streaming giant just released the teaser for their new project, titled “POLO.”
It is a documentary series on the various professional players in the sport and was created by the couple’s Archewell Productions. The teaser for the new series was advertised on Netflix’s social media accounts today.
While the teaser didn’t give too much away about the show, it has raised eyebrows due to its release hours after Kate announced her cancer recovery in a heartwarming video.

However, it might just be a coincidence as there’s no proof that Netflix or the Sussexes deliberately released the photos after Kate’s intimate video.
The Netflix announcement of the new series reads, “POLO is a new documentary series that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport. From Archewell Productions and Boardwalk Pictures, premiering this December only on Netflix.”

The Duke Of Sussex Is An Executive Producer For The Series
A statement about the docu-series noted that it would explore the world of polo, with Harry serving as an executing producer.
“The series will explore the world of the sport, which is known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene,” the statement read. “It will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level. Prince Harry has been known as a keen polo player and is often photographed playing internationally.”
Harry and Meghan’s company, Archewell Productions, will partner with Boardwalk Pictures to bring polo to life. The latter was previously in charge of Netflix’s “Chef’s Table,” “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?” and “Sex, Love, & Goop.”
Also, Harry, a polo enthusiast, might make a cameo in the series.

Kate Middleton Announced Her Cancer Recovery Hours Before The Netflix Teaser
A few hours before the Netflix post, William and Kate shared a video on social media to celebrate the princess’ successful chemotherapy journey.
The three-minute clip was filmed in Norfolk and featured Kate, their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as well as Kate’s parents.
In the video, Kate spoke about her health crisis and said that her focus now is “doing what I can to stay cancer-free.” She said, “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
Kate also spoke about how the cancer treatment journey can be “complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”

In the intimate video, Kate shared some lessons she and William have learned from their experience dealing with cancer.
She said it’s taught them to “reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”
The Princess of Wales also spoke about her plans for the future now that she’s finally finished her chemotherapy.
She noted, “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
Kate then wrapped up her message by saying that she has a “renewed sense of hope” and is thankful for the “kindness, empathy, and compassion” she and her family have received.
She ended the video with a message to other cancer patients and their loved ones, saying, “I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand.”

Palace Sources Say It’s Good For The Princess Not To Feel ‘Pressured’ To Return To Work
Kate began chemotherapy in February after undergoing abdominal surgery in January. She announced her cancer diagnosis in March and has kept a low profile since.
In June, she released a touching statement alongside a portrait of her in Windsor. She also made a rare appearance at the Trooping the Colour parade in honor of the King.
In July, feeling well, Kate attended Wimbledon with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa Middleton. In August, she and her husband also recorded a video to support athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
While no date has been set for her return to full public duties, those close to the palace emphasize the importance of Kate not feeling pressured.
A source told People, “It’s good not to feel under pressure and just take her time and have slow days if she needs to.”
